Tendai Lewa Mtana

Tendai Lewa Mtana leads the Blue Savannah as its Chief of Party, building institutional and diplomatic frameworks that position landlocked African nations as sovereign maritime stakeholders. He is Managing Trustee of The Foundation for Law and Governance (FLAG) Trust and a director of Gabriel's Ark (K) Ltd. Previously, as Mombasa County Executive Committee Member for Education and Fisheries, he led nationally significant UN and World Bank-financed programmes. His work sits at the intersection of governance, trade corridor policy, and institution-building, most recently represented at the 11th Our Ocean Conference and the Green Works for Africa Forum.
