Kim is the president of the PR Council (PRC), where she guides agencies to adapt to evolving market demands and rapid technological change. Under her leadership, PRC represents over 140 premier global, mid-size, regional, and specialty firms across the United States and Canada, covering every discipline and practice area, united by a focus on earned impact—the strategic foundation and defining value of their work. Before joining PRC in 2018, Kim founded and led Emanate, a $35 million international marketing communications agency with over 100 employees, which earned PR WEEK Agency of the Year and CRAIN’S Best Places to Work in NYC, alongside multiple industry awards for client work. Her career began in small agencies, progressing through leadership roles at large and midsized firms, where she led strategy and programming for Fortune 500 clients across industries including financial services, travel and hospitality, CPG, and consumer electronics.
