Kate Hartley

Kate is a crisis communications specialist, consultant, guest lecturer, speaker and writer. She is the co-founder of Polpeo, the author of 'Communicate in a Crisis,' a book on crisis communications in a social media world, and the co-host of 'What Just Happened?', a podcast from Polpeo that looks at the biggest crises of our time. She co-founded Polpeo to help organizations rehearse and test their response to a breaking crisis. She runs crisis communications training, workshops and simulations for comms and marketing teams, leadership teams and specialists (such as security teams) in a wide range of sectors, including FMCG, financial services, public sector, regulated industries, infrastructure and transport, education, travel and others.
